Refunds & Returns

We want our books to bring joy and fun. If a story isn't the right fit for you, we’re here to help.

1. 30-Day Returns

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to return your book. To be eligible for a refund, the book must be:

  • In its original, "good-as-new" condition (no crayon marks or pea-purée stains, please!).

  • Returned in its original packaging or similar protective wrapping.

2. How to Start a Return

  1. Email info@blackquill.co.uk with your order number and the reason for the return.

  2. Once approved, we will provide the return shipping address.

  3. Return Shipping: Unless the item arrived damaged, customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service to ensure it reaches us safely.

3. Damaged or "Chewed" Items

If your book arrives damaged during transit, please Contact Us within 48 hours with a photo of the damage. We will send a replacement immediately at no extra cost.

4. Digital Downloads

Due to the nature of digital products (e.g., printable meal planners or E-books), these items are non-refundable once the download link has been accessed, as per UK Consumer Contract Regulations.

5. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you via email. If approved, your refund will be processed back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
